Baard Owe was born on July 3, 1936 in Mosjøen, Norway as Baard Arne Owe. He is an actor and director, known for O'Horten (2007), Hodejegerne (2011) and Gertrud (1964). He is married to Marie-Louise Coninck. They have four children.
